Woodbricks® Installation Instructions

SURFACE PREPARATION: Surfaces to which woodrick is to be applied should be flat and smooth. We recommend sheetrock, or preferably plywood or chipboard.

1.) For ease of application we recommend the use of a Woodbrick® Base moulding designed especially to accept the Woodbrick®. Simply level the Woodbrick® Base Molding along the floor and proceed with application as shown.

2.) Find the center of area you are covering and plumb a center line (line2).

3.) Center your first Woodbrick® on (line 2) with top of brick even with (line 1). Lay with female side up. For best results we recommend nailing: Fasten each Woodbrick® by nailing through top flange or apply adhesive to back of each Woodbrick® (See B). Lay both ways from the center, and be sure to finish each row before going on to the next row.

4.) For the next row, lock two Woodbricks® end to end, and center the joint on (line 2) and again lay your Woodbricks® both ways from center. Simply continue to alternate subsequent rows in this manner.

5.) For a Wainscote effect, a custom Woodbrick® Chair Rail is available which plugs onto the top row for a finishing touch. Also custom Woodbrick® inside and outside corners are available from your dealer to give a finished professional appearance.

CAUTION: Woodbricks® are combustible. For fireplace applications consult the fireplace manufacturer's instructions regarding clearance required from hot areas.
*Check local building codes for any application near heating devices.
